Pashupatinath, or Pashupati, is the most important Hindu temple in Kathmandu Metropolis, the capital of Nepal. Found on the banking companies of the Bagmati River some 3 kilometers from the center of city, Pashupatinath is devoted to Hindu God Shiva, or fairly is a single of his manifestations. As some eighty five% of Nepal's inhabitants is Hindu, Pashupatinath is deemed to be the protector or patron deity of Nepal.
