Pashupatinath, or Pashupati, is the most important Hindu temple in Kathmandu Town, the money of Nepal. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River some a few kilometers from the middle of city, Pashupatinath is devoted to Hindu God Shiva, or fairly is one of his manifestations. As some eighty five% of Nepal's inhabitants is Hindu, Pashupatinath is considered to be the protector or patron deity of Nepal.
