Julia Fairchild is a clinical psychologist. Mackenzie Brantley Jr. is a physician. He knew they were meant to be together from the moment they met. Regardless of vast differences in their childhoods, they seem destined for a fairytale life then along came the storm.

Both Julia and Mac were hit by lightning. Julia was taken to a hospital in Albuquerque where she meets Dr. Steven Duke. Steve has always been a rival of Mac. No friendship is lost among them. When Steve meets Julia, he wishes hed met her 1st.

Mac told Julia small about his family. The household is shocked by the resemblance between Julia and Selma, Macs mother. It doesnt take long for Julia to comprehend that this is a family with secrets.

Macs past reside-in, Emaline Pierce, is determined to win Mac back. Its not him she desires, its the family pecan grove, The Red Stone Grove, and his older brother. Shell do whatever it takes to get what she wants.

The lives of the Brantley and Pierces are interwoven with dark, deadly secrets, secrets that could destroy both households.

Julia Fairchild by Louise Gaylord is 1 of those books that you wont put down till you read every single word on every single page. Ms. Gaylord has woven a tale of betrayal, murder and passion. The characters have depth.

Reading this book is like looking in a window and watching the lives of the characters unfold just before you. Julia and Mac are two of the most complicated characters Ive ever read about. They are not ideal, far from it. They have their quirks and every makes blunders. Dolores and Frank as supporting characters were fascinating.

It was simple to really feel Dolores bitter anger more than Franks betrayal. Frank wasnt the most likable sort, but he was real. This is one particular of the greatest books Ive read in years. Nicely completed Ms. Gaylord. It is with great honor that I suggest Julia Fairchild to these who get pleasure from fiction and a genuinely excellent drama.
