As Christians, one way how the Holy Spirit can help direct us within this life is by other individuals. In the Bible are several interesting verses revealing to us that there is safety in the multitude of counselors and that you'll wager battle by wise counsel with other believers.

God can clearly provide us with an immediate word when He wishes to, but you will have other instances that He'll speak to us by other people. For this reason Jesus has made us as being a Body, not as lone rangers.
